A Christian faith blog built on revelations learned from going through life’s chanllenges.

Hi, I’m Lori.
Growing up in church, I thought if you were a Christian, life would be easy, without problems. I didn’t spend enough time in God’s Word to learn the truth about that statement. When I became an adult, I quickly learned how wrong my thinking was. Life was not a bed of roses.
Through the years, I have gone through a series of challenges that would rock my world and test my resilience in ways I never imagined possible. When I was younger, I battled a relentless health crisis with endometriosis and the heart-wrenching struggle of infertility, which left me feeling isolated and desperate for answers. Once God blessed me with the miracle of children, my joy was often overshadowed by an excessive worry about their health and well-being, leaving me in a constant state of anxiety. This anxiety spiraled further as I began to worry about my own health, and I found myself catastrophizing every little situation, imagining the worst case scenarios for myself and my family. In addition to these personal struggles, we faced financial battles while being in ministry. The challenges grew even more daunting as we fought to regain our lives and sense of purpose after the churches we ministered in would tear us down, often leaving us questioning our calling.
Through every trial and every pain, I had to fight to find peace. I turned to the Word of God to fill my mind, heart and spirit with His promises. Although anxiety would speak very loud through the years, God has and still is teaching me to pursue peace. And that is what has birthed this blog.
As God’s Word has sustained me, I wanted that for others also. I want to share my personal revelations in an accessible way to give people hope that peace is possible in the midst of chaos.
